From Rick and Morty to the Oval Office: President Curtis Series Announced!
At San Diego Comic-Con two weeks ago, in addition to releasing the latest trailers for their shows, studios also made some new announcements, including this exciting spin-off news from the world of Rick and Morty.

During the event, Adult Swim announced a spin-off of the adult animated comedy Rick and Morty titled President Curtis. The series is created by Rick and Morty co-creator Dan Harmon and writer James Siciliano. Keith David will return to voice President Curtis, and the cast also includes Stephanie Beatriz (Brooklyn Nine-Nine) and Jim Rash (Community). President Curtis follows the Commander-in-Chief and his eccentric staff as they tackle the kind of crises that Rick Sanchez could never be bothered with - from interdimensional diplomacy to paranormal investigations and unexplained phenomena.
Rick and Morty first premiered in 2013 and has since won an Annie Award for Best General Audience Animated Television Broadcast Production and two Emmy Awards for Outstanding Animated Program. The eighth season concluded last week, and the production team is currently in the recording phase for Season 9. The show is currently renewed through Season 12. President Curtis will be the third spin-off animated series for Rick and Morty. In 2022, Adult Swim released a ten-episode series called Vindicators 2 on YouTube. Each episode was two to three minutes long and continued the storyline from the Rick and Morty Season 3 episode, Vindicators 3: The Return of Worldender, following the Vindicators members—Supernova, Vance Maxiumus, Alan Rails, Crocubot, and Noob Noob—as they fought crime and prevented genocide. Last year, they also launched the ten-episode series Rick and Morty: The Anime, which showcased the protagonists' adventures with a distinct Japanese anime visual style.
