Premiering in December! Fallout Season 2 Teaser Trailer Revealed!

One of Prime Video's most popular series is making its return—Fallout Season 2 is set to premiere in December.

Fallout Season 2 will premiere on Prime Video on December 17th. Like the first season, it will have eight episodes, with Geneva Robertson-Dworet and Graham Wagner returning as showrunners. The cast from the first season will return, including Ella Purnell, Aaron Moten, Walton Goggins, Kyle MacLachlan, Moisés Arias, and Frances Turner. New cast members this season include Macaulay Culkin (Home Alone franchise) and Justin Theroux (Beetlejuice Beetlejuice). In Season 2, the protagonists will travel to the post-apocalyptic city of New Vegas. The terrifying Deathclaw, one of the most fearsome predators from the games, will also make its on-screen appearance.

The series, based on the hit video game franchise, premiered its first season last year. The first three episodes were directed by Jonathan Nolan (Westworld). The show was met with positive reviews and received three Emmy nominations, including Outstanding Drama Series and Outstanding Lead Actor for Walton Goggins. It has also become the second most-watched series on Prime Video, behind only The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power. A few months ago, Prime Video already renewed the series for a third season.

In addition to the trailer, Prime Video also released a new poster a few days ago.

In recent years, Hollywood has adapted many popular video games into live-action films and series, with mixed results. The Last of Us and Fallout are two examples of successful adaptations that received critical acclaim and Emmy nominations for Best Series. In contrast, adaptations like Monster Hunter and The Witcher received more mixed reviews. Over the past few months, it was reported that two other popular fantasy games are getting adaptations: a live-action Elden Ring film, which will be directed and written by Alex Garland (Ex Machina, Civil War), and a live-action Netflix series for Assassin's Creed, which will be created by Roberto Patino (Westworld) and David Wiener (Halo).
