超級英雄片種史上最佳演出？外國影評如何盛讚梁朝偉在《尚氣與十環幫傳奇》的演出？
Marvel首部以亞裔英雄為主角的電影《尚氣與十環幫傳奇》(Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings)將於下星期在香港上映。電影上週在美國進行首映，獲得不錯的評價：在Rotten Tomatoes獲得91%好評，並在Metacritic獲得平均71分。。其中，電影的動作場面，以及香港影帝梁朝偉的演出大獲讚揚。筆者在這文章裡摘錄了Metacritic裡部份外國影評人對梁朝偉的盛讚，部份影評看起來更有點誇張，真的令人十分期待他在電影裡的演出。
兩年前，在Marvel宣布梁朝偉將會在這電影飾演奸角Wenwu後，筆者曾寫了一篇文章《滿大人！梁朝偉要演一個怎樣的MARVEL奸角？》，指出Marvel電影宇宙(Marvel Cinematic Universe)一直有嚴重的奸角問題，梁朝偉如何才能脫穎而出，成為令人印象深刻的奸角。從外國影評人的以下影評看來，他的確為觀眾帶來了難忘的演出。
《大西洋》(The Atlantic)的影評標題直接形容這電影是一部：
《單是奸角就值得觀看的超級英雄電影》
(A Superhero Movie That’s Worth Seeing for the Villain Alone)
這電影是亞洲其中一位最大的影星的首次荷里活演出，這製作品是純正的魔法。
(Marvel’s Shang-Chi is the first Hollywood project for one of Asia’s biggest film stars. The result is pure magic.)。
影評結尾指出：
這電影最終還是屬於梁朝偉的。
(But Shang-Chi ultimately belongs to Leung.)
梁朝偉的演出，像他過去的很多演出般，在電影完結後仍縈繞不散。
(And Leung’s performance, like so many in his career, lingers long after the credits end.)
Roger Ebert影評網頁的影評指出：
然而，這電影的威力來自他的父親Wenwu。電影其中一個最傑出的決定在於找來梁朝偉演出，讓他能重現他在無數浪漫和劇情片的魔力。梁朝偉主宰了整部電影。
(The power for this film, however, comes through in the eyes of his father, Wenwu. One of the movie’s most brilliant choices is casting Tony Leung so that can repeat the same magic he’s had from countless romances and dramas in Hong Kong. Leung rules this movie.)

The Wrap的影評指出：
在這電影裡，梁朝偉交出或許是超級英雄片種史上最佳的演出，至少是最佳的奸角演出
(Here, he gives what is probably the best-ever performance in a superhero movie, certainly for a villain.)
梁朝偉表演出毫不費力的威嚴，同時帶點悲傷，讓觀眾關心他和尚氣的演變。所以當電影步向有關世界末日的劇情，怪物和武術場面變得比角色更重要時，觀眾仍然可以投入至電影裡，至少不會被常見的高潮場面所影響。(Leung conveys effortless authority leavened with a distant sadness, and it makes viewers care, both about him and about the overall stakes of Shang’s evolution, so that when the film pivots into world-ending sequences where monsters and martial-arts choreography become more important than the characters, audiences can still be invested, or at least less put off by familiar climactic tropes.)
IGN的影評指出：
梁朝偉飾演的Wenwu是Marvel至今其中一位最有同情心和最複雜的奸角。

Polygon的影評形容梁朝偉的演出為：
極好的演出，他在銀幕上的每一刻都帶來細緻的人性。
(A tremendous performance from Tony Leung, who brings a level of subtle humanity to every moment he’s on screen.)
洛杉磯時報 (Los Angeles Times)的影評的首五段都在讚揚梁朝偉的演出，他指出雖然梁朝偉不是這電影的主角，但他完全是這電影的明星。他亦指出，梁朝偉的演出為電影帶來額外的電影效果，電影裡亦沒有哪一位演員能媲美他的演出。
The Hollywood Reporter在批評電影劇本沒有為尚氣設計太多個性的同時，讚揚梁朝偉是這角色的救星，形容他飾演的角色Weneu的有有罕見地有靈魂的奸角，為尚氣的起源故事注入一點愛，並使電影的風格變得更加「貼地」。
The A.V. Club指出這電影其中一個最大的優點在於它的演員，尤其是梁朝偉：
梁朝偉散發著那種影評人有時抱怨日漸式微的電影明星魅力，他在電影裡基本上沒有遇上任何挑戰，但他為這個原本情感空洞的角色帶來靈魂：他有同情心，直至他不再有同情心。從這角度來看，這角色是一個經典的Marvel奸角。
(That refers to the stunts, yes, but more often to Tony Leung, who exudes the type of movie-star charisma critics sometimes complain is on the decline. Leung isn’t exactly being challenged here, but he brings soul to the scant emotional depth of his character, a classic Marvel villain in the sense that he’s sympathetic until he’s not.)
Observer的影評指出：
梁朝偉的演出溫文爾雅、內斂而有力。他能夠用最輕微的眼神傳達幾個世紀以來的憤怒和心碎。(Leung is suave, restrained and powerful. He is able to convey centuries worth of rage and heartbreak with the slightest of glances.)
Paste的影評指出這電影看起來不像尚氣的電影，而像是梁朝偉飾演的Wenwu的電影：
Wenwu不僅是電影中唯一引人入勝的角色，而且梁朝偉不僅是一位超有魅力、英俊、富布神秘感的大師，而且他還是這個笨拙故事不可缺少的力量。(Not only is his character arc the only compelling one of the film and not only is Leung an ultra-charismatic master at handsome mystique, but he’s the essential force of the unwieldy story.)
Slant的影評指出除了梁朝偉的演出外，這電影的其他層面都令人失望：
梁朝偉的演出不斷在堅韌與脆弱之間搖擺，毫不費力地表現了Wenwu主張絕對權力的冷靜惡意，以及男人因失去妻子而感到的痛苦。(Swinging remarkably between resilience and vulnerability, Leung effortlessly conveys the calm malice with which Wenwu asserts his absolute power as well as the anguish that the man feels over the loss of his wife.)
